About the role :

●       Lead the software architecture team in making critical decisions that drive the overall direction of our simulation data and multiplayer architecture, aligned with business goals and objectives.

●       Lead teams in creating effective architecture solutions for multiplayer services, data, servers, and providers.

●       Lead the design of scalable and reliable multiplayer services architecture.

●       Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create seamless and engaging multiplayer experiences for players, considering factors such as latency, synchronization, and player interactions.

●       Oversee the architecture between data services and multiplayer components, ensuring efficient data management, storage, and retrieval.

●       Take ownership of security regulations and compliance standards within the software architecture. Implement and enforce robust security measures to safeguard player data, prevent cheating, and protect against potential threats.

●       Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure the alignment of architectural decisions with game design objectives and player experience goals.

●       Continuously monitor and assess the performance of software architecture components. Identify bottlenecks, optimize resource utilization, and lead efforts to enhance the overall performance of the simulation systems.

●       Participate and lead meetings with customers on IT security;

●       Contribute to the analysis of the technical feasibility of security solutions;

●       Oversee an internal program on information security and human resources policy;

●       Prioritize, analyze, escalate and assist in the remediation of security critical information or other security incidents identified from security tools or through other sources;

●       Support network mapping and vulnerability scanning as needed to support security operations situational awareness or to support other teams;

●       Develop and manage software license operation, usage and security monitoring;

what you'll need:

●       Graduated from an engineering school, computer science or equivalent

●       Solid experience working with multiple teams with cross-functional interactions.

●       You master operating systems (including Windows, UNIX/LINUX), networks and telecoms, databases and storage (NAS/SAN/DAS).

●       3+ years of experience in management positions

●       Solid experience working with multiple teams with cross-functional interactions.

●       Experience working on designing and developing applications in the cloud

●       Proficiency and fluency both in written and spoken English, as you’ll be leading an international team

●       Excellent high-level communication skills

●       Organized and methodical

●       Sense of teamwork and positive spirit

 

Plus

●       Portuguese and/or French speaking

●       Your sense of customer service, your analytical mind and your sense of results are appreciated and allow you to collaborate with your customers and the service providers you manage.
